"Went here for early dinner (5-ish on a Sunday and judging by the reviews, I think we came at the wrong time of day/meal. The restaurant itself is pretty cool and much larger than it looks from the exterior. Outside, there is a pond with ducks, a mill, small waterfall, and scattered farm decor. There are fire pits and rocking chairs outside for those waiting for a table. We needed no wait at this time of day, as it seems the popular meal is breakfast and brunch. Since the lot is fairly small, I think parking could be tough when really busy. There is overflow parking to the right of the building. Oh my goodness! If you have not had a down home cooking in a very long time this is the place for you! My husband had the pot roast and mashed potatoes open face and the meat just melted in your mouth! Very flavorful and delicious and I'm not even a meat eater. I had the catfish was fried green tomatoes and fried okra and it came with this G Normas buttermilk biscuit! I could not put that biscuit down it was so so good. Our friends had the pot pie and the sugared ham and they both said it was the best that they have ever had. The servings are large enough to take home and half for another meal. Oh my golly, Miss Dolly!! This Sevierville local restaurant is our new must stop when visiting the Pigeon Forge area. We eat out a lot and love southern home cooking. We especially love when a restaurant and chef stick to the tried and true, but elevate it slightly. This is what happens at Five Oaks. First off, you'll notice the modern farmhouse vibe. Rustic, yet updated decor makes this place casual and classy all at once. Our server was delightful and shared her honest opinion of the food and other restaurants owned by the same family.
