"We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at George’s and the atmosphere was very relaxing, the food was absolutely delicious and the time between courses was very nice. We had the Oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer along with a glass of wine, the Luccio Moscato, California, especially if you like it on the sweeter side as opposed to dry which complimented our steaks perfectly. The service was impeccable and the coffee and carrot cake for dessert made for a nice finish to the evening. If you’re in the area and have a desire for great food in a comfortable atmosphere, then George’s Steak Pit is a perfect place to dine. Sadly disappointing. The food was average instead of special. The French onion soup was not good at all. I am happy to pay top price for top food. But the staff was great!

It is a great place for steaks on a date night. I would recommend a reservation It's a delicate dining dress, accordingly. The fillet mignon is remarkable, and it has a soup or salad and a side.

The food was cold and the waiter did not keep tea/water glass full. The waiter said he would be back with bread but it was never brought to table. There was a 20 per cent tip added and the service didn't warrant that amount. Service and food was not what I expected.
