"A month or so ago I had the pleasure of dining at La Costa, and I must say, it was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was great, the customer service was outstanding, and the food was unmatched. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests through their attention to detail, and their efforts to connect with the community. They even had a raffle to win a lawnmower at one point (I didn’t win unfortunately)! Now I usually don’t write reviews, but after my recent visit this weekend I had to share my thoughts. It is definitely worth the commute from my home in The Woodlands. I will be back!"

"My family and I pass this restaurant every time we head to Galveston; today, we stopped for dinner. Took my 4 kids, one of their friends, and niece (party of 7 if you 're doing the math with me) at the end of their dinner rush around 6pm. The gentleman that took my order was quick and efficient, and friendly. Kids had the kids ' burger, cheeseburger, chicken tender meals, while my niece I had the classic burger/cheeseburger meals. I also splurged on a chocolate malt that took me back to when I was a kid my dad would take me to this little drive-in burger place where they put the tray on your window (Dog 'n Suds if you 're from up north). The food was fresh and absolutely on point. Will definitely come back. Thank you! would love to see the arcade games come back to life! "Hole in the wall place with only 3 picnic tables in the inside. It is more of a to-go order service. Service was great, food had flavor, and the homemade tortillas were awesome and big. Right now most places don't have tripas (fried small intestines), or lengua (cow toungue) and they did. Cannot comment on lengua but my partner gave it a thumbs up. My menudo was not spicy but they gave me a generous amount of dice jalapeños, cilantro and onions. The hamburger was huge with a nice big serving of french fries. I might order that next time. Lastly, the kids enchilada plate was ok. It had white cheese and the sause was a type of green salsa gravy. Not sure how to explain it. It was not bad at all just not my favorite compare to everything else. The price was right for the service and food. Oh, I almost forgot. The agua frescas (flavor water) were delicious. I ask if they were made from real fruit and they said yes. I'll go ahead and take their word for it because I enjoyed them. I ordered orchata (rice water) and watermelon."

"Wonderful hideaway with real Mexican food. Loved the beef tacos, which were NOT made with ground beef. Green salsa better than red. I would recommend this restaurant to my Houston friends.
