Sensationelle Küche, sehr freundlicher Service, sehr schönes und geschmackvolles Ambiente. Preislich etwas gehoben, aber absolut gerechtfertigt. Es werden saisonale Produkte aus der Region verwendet. Sehr kreative Küche.

Wir waren mit Freunden zum Mittagessen. Die barsche und relativ unfreundliche Bedienung vergaß, dass sie uns das Mittagsmenü vorstellte. Auf das Mineralwasser mussten wir sage und schreibe 35 Minuten warten und das bei 35 Grad im Schatten, obwohl nur fünf Tische belegt waren. Die Portion unseres Tatars war überschaubar klein, das Backhendl ebenfalls relativ wenig. Unsere Bekannte hatte ein vegetarisches Gericht (Artischockengröstl). Für 22 Euro völlig überteuert. Alles in allem enttäuschend und überteuert. Wir hatten uns viel mehr erwartet in einem Restaurant mit einem Michelinstern. Der Service ist bodenlos.

I would probably not have found it on my own, but on this chilly Saturday early January it was nice to make a tour of well over an hour to reach the dormant village of Pleiskirchen. First impression of the restaurant is that you come in a Gast-Stube and does not immediately reflect an exclusive style. But does that matter? Not at all. You are, after all, in a real village surrounding. From another review I read that the service was a bit distant. Yes, I agree. I am sure the waitress did so much her best, but a smile would help and a more relaxed explanation of the dishes could be done less cold like reading it from the textbook.
