I enjoyed this place. my man brought me here to celebrate an important milestone with some family members. the food and the drinks were great, the only problem I had was the risotto was understated and crispy I couldn't eat that but the taste was good tho lol. I turned it off with the green beans and the man was delicious. I can't remember the names of all the dishes we had, but they were all good. I think I tasted eating all of them. the best part for me was the live music and fired the atmosphere was amazing and welcoming

that was the first time that the engaged and I left. we wanted to eat somewhere else. they have a unique menu for lynchburg. there are elements on their menu that they do not order elsewhere. They have inside or outside seats and also have an upper floor to sit. they were pretty friendly and we have our eating pretty fast. the food for the greatest part was 8/9 of 10 of my opinion after. my other half said his eating was really good. we'll eat again. I gave him a 4 because I don't feel that she's really something for children when a family or group came in with children. I was looking forward to dining at Iron and Ale and had heard positive reviews from others, including family members. The restaurant is pleasant and spacious with two level dining as well as some outdoor seating. The menu for lunch and for dinner was fairly extensive so it shouldn't be hard to find a choice. I selected a turkey club and sweet potato fries for a lunch. Sandwiches and burgers come with choice of one side. I'm not a fussy eater, but this was the worst club I can recall. The turkey looked and tasted like outdated deli meat with a little slime, the dressing was thick and made everything soggy and not tasty, and the bread was overly toasted.
