"Had lunch at Joes today with my Grandmother. I ordered the grilled shrimp Santa Fe salad. It was very good. My grandmother ordered a cheeseburger which came with fries. The fries were VERY over salted to the point that she wasn’t able to eat them. While she ordered her burger medium well, it was way past well. On the plus side, Jamie was our server and she was WONDERFUL and VERY KIND! She was very apologetic for my grandmother’s burger and over-salted fries. "I look forward to dinner with friends for wein, good food and talk, but restaurant was very busy and very loud, so it was difficult to hear the person about the table. service was good and my dinner was very good and all the others in the party seemed satisfied. only the complaining was the way we were thrown out. two server came by and began to delete the table and when I said annoyed: “I guess they want us to go,” said a server, they had another reservation and they needed the table. well, that we did not dessert or ordered another drink or they had a problem. our group will not return."

"I found the interior to be too dim, but the food was excellent! The portions were on the smaller side, but tasty. Parking is available on the street. "D'Angelos on Mount Pleasant street in New Bedford is the BEST one I have ever been to. I live a good half hour away and my family and I always opt to take the longer trip for the food. The food is always fresh and hot and the portions are huge. They can be a little pricey but well worth the money. I always have a special order and my order is always correct. The staff overall is wonderful with a special shout-out to Julia, Heaven and Ryan! You guys rocked tonight and order was perfect and delicious! This place is a must-go-to! There is something for everyone. !!"

"A hidden gem located at 1528 Acushnet Avenue in New Bedford, Restaurant Mimo is an excellent dining experience that is regarded by many locals as the best restaurant for Portuguese food in the city. My wife and I are open to trying new dishes and we have been enjoying many unique Portuguese delicacies that are promoted online daily and compliment their traditional menu choices. We both love seafood and for an appetizer we generally choose between Littlenecks with Garlic Sauce or Spanish Style, both are delicious! I have my go-to choices for an entree that I will mention first. Seafood Linguine, Seafood Mozambique, Baked Stuffed Salmon Baked Seafood Platter are each delicious and will satisfy my urge for a seafood dish. Each dish is made-to-order and if you would enjoy an adult beverage while you wait, they have draft beer, bottled beer, wine excellent cocktails that are all reasonably priced. I enjoy their Sangrias that add a generous scoop of diced fruit your choice of Sumol Sparkling Juice. Regarding the Baked Stuffed Salmon, ask for a side order of their Creamy Mozambique Sauce for an upcharge. You will not regret it. I dip the salmon vegetables in a cup of this sauce and I love it. You can order Chicken or Shrimp Mozambique dishes with the regular or creamy Mozambique Sauce and you will crave that sauce until your next visit. Restaurant Mimo features daily specials and authentic Portuguese limited or seasonal food items are featured. Their excellent friendly staff will provide you with answers to any questions that you may have about that, should you decide to explore food offerings that you haven 't experienced before. I enjoyed every one. My favorites included Lapas Mediterranean mollusks , Portuguese Goat Stew, Portuguese Tripe Bean Stew, they featured dry rubbed Grilled Ribs that were the best ribs that I have had in the area. We have become regulars at Restaurant Mimo on our mission to explore new dining experiences, and my wife and I are grateful that we did. They have off street parking behind the restaurant, but you do not have to feed the meters after 6:00 if you see an open space. I am certain that I will continue reporting on their other fine food choices in the future."
