"This place was recommended by our Airbnb owners. The food was pretty good. We had a bacon ham omelette which was good, it also came with home potatoes which were good but could use a little more salt for flavor and a biscuit that is in a cool heart shape but did not taste that great it did not have any flavor. We also had an order of the Cinnamon roll French toast and that was delicious. It is a nice rustic looking small diner. Not many tables so we had to wait a little bit but the food was pretty good."

It was freezing in the restaurant. We ordered a two egg plate, cinnamon roll and an omelet with home fries. Beware they are not home fries. They looked like deep fried sliced potatoes. We didn't even try them. The cinnamon roll, gravy and omelet were good. Service was barely okay. We had to ask for each refill of coffee.

we had never been when it was empty, but it was one of the best culinary experiences I ever had. the eating was delicious, the chicken turnover is my favorite and I loved the fries and ranch dressing. husband also enjoyed the land fried steak, but felt it was thicker than other places, not as tender. our server was cheerful and attentive. I also enjoyed the old school music, to my surprise. Now we know when julian is less busy, it felt like a small town.
