"it was very expensive for the quality of the food that was served us, as well as there were many paintings that I asked my waitress on dinge and was completely ignorant. they took my order and 20 minutes later told me they were out of lobster and asked me to change my order. they did not offer to refill our empty beverages and instead leave a water-cnail on our table. than the bill arrived, there was no option for a custom tip, only an option of at least 18 percent with only higher options to choose from. on the way out my party was shouted by a intoxicating person with whom the restaurant had not to do and obviously led to people around him having a bad experience."

"fantastic eating and excellent service [some of the best I experienced in kelowna]. however, they need a better way to distribute the problem groups in the restaurant. there was a table with gold tombs [this is the only word for women so] that have really ruined the experience for us and all the others in the sitting group. we've all seen each other hoping that the server or manager would do something. it was the kind of situation in the hospitality, where they were the bills of the other tables still. I really want to go back as we live on the street, but I don't want to risk dealing with women who make it known to all others that they use and abuse men for their money. really regrettably how waterfront has dealt with it."

"my husband, my daughter and I often eat. I could even say that we have become food of the okanagan. we do our best to try something new every month. we have eaten in oak cru once or twice, only for. or a fast snack. we decided to give it to dinner. wow! only wow! what a pleasant surprise! our server was anthony and he was nothing shy of spectacular! he was friendly, knowledgeable and his recommendations were perfect! we had a few cocktails, most of which were under the advice of anthony and all were delish! To dinner we had the crust hoolibut, the steak and the steel head. I honestly couldn't tell them what was best. they were all amazing! an absolute must is the skill-smores for dessert. I don't care how full they order it! when they read one of my reviews, they will know that I am a great advocate of good service. I think the chic of a restaurant is really in the hands of the server because they create the experience. anthony did this! We all returned to the car and shaved all the way to the house, how wonderful he was and how he did our night. our monthly tradition of eating will continue, but let me tell them anthony has set the bar so high, I am not sure that every restaurant has ever measured for the experience he has provided us. nice anthony! I hope their bosse realize what they are for one they are in their device! we hope to see them again!"

"First waited at least 15 mins to be seated, inspite of having a reservation. The Maitre de appeared to have to multitask. Actually no one at front desk for several mins after we arrived. We then had to wait until he dealt with a take out food pickup. Disappointed in menu limited choice of appetizers and out of the spinach/artichoke dip we ordered. No baked potatoes to go with ribs or steak. The server did not inform us of the mashed potato option. She left us with the impression there was chips or chips! The Manager, who was very pleasant, brought us some excellent garlic mashed potatoes part way through the meal. We also ordered decaf coffee. The server forgot to put a pot on, so when our dessert came, our options were to wait (we'd already been there for almost 2 hrs), have regular coffee from the bar, have water or nothing. We choose hot water which the server quickly brought. On a positive note, the chocolate gnash dessert which came gratis as a birthday treat was excellent. I may give Milestones one more chance as I've had good experiences in the past, but one more dinner like last night will determine whether I choose your restaurant again."
