"I tried to like this place, but I have to admit that the food was good and well-prepared. However, the competition for Italian restaurants in Long Island is tough, as most places also offer solid food. This restaurant doesn't stand out by offering convenience or low prices, nor does it aim for the high-end market. The prices are high, the service is slow and unorganized, the location is not ideal, and the decor feels crowded with too many tables. I would overlook all of that if the food was reasonably priced and the service was good, but unfortunately this place falls short in both areas. It seems like they sell a lot of pizza, though."

This place is the best of the best! You won't find more authentic pizza anywhere else. The service is fast and friendly. Even though it's located on a main route, it's easy to miss. I absolutely love this place.

La Pala is truly a hidden gem in glen cove!!! We've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The food is unbelievable, they're great about substitutions and customizing your meal. They also always have the best desserts! Definitely highly recommend if you're looking for great food, we always love it!
