"Oh, this is a great place for a leisurely family dinner. There is no loud music. You can talk to your family in peace. It's so unusual. The staff is very friendly and courteous. We arrived for dinner and found a place for us. I recommend taking snails according to the recipe from the chef. They are in an amazing creamy sauce with mushrooms. We were also surprised by the onion soup. It's easy to spoil it, but here it's gorgeous. We also liked the children's menu it is very homemade. The kangaroo meat was soft and delicious. The food and service were great. Always a special place for us as we travel a ways to get here. The prime rib and lamb was delicious and cooked perfectly.

Servers were wonderful. I wish I could remember their names. They were attentive, friendly, and answered our questions. Atmosphere was special. We were there for an anniversary and were permitted to bring in a cake which they cut and served. The food presentation was excellent. However, I did not rate a 5 because some of the dishes were very salty (chicken picatta and salmon) and the salmon appeared to be poached. Sirloin was done oerfectly but had alot of grissel so difficult to cut. The oysters on the half shell were very tasty but more than miniature in size. Fried calimari and french onion soup excellent. I would return for a special occasion. We enjoyed ourselves and never felt rushed.
