"Traveled from out of state for the drag races at Eddyville Raceway and found this gem of a restaurant called Melody's Kitchen. The minute we sat down at a table next to a husband, wife, and their mother, we felt welcomed. They told us all about the community. The wait staff was just as welcoming. Going on was a high school reunion with professional karaoke and people having fun. I had a jalepeno bacon cheeseburger that was outstanding. If you leave here hungry, you must have just had water. Wife had a BLT and it had to be 4 inches high!! My tenderloin could have cut it in thirds and got 2 more buns.
