"We got the inside scoop from the lady at the souvenir shop next door on how to order and what may not be on the menu but was on their FB page. We went over and ordered and lo and behold we got a special called Pumpkin^2 and we took her recommendations and got the hand dipped instead of soft serve (everyone has soft serve...even DQ) and though my son ordered a cone and got a cup and I ordered half a scoop of two flavors and got two whole scoops of each it was quite delicious! This is the best ice cream! A friend told us to be sure and stop here when we traveled to Gettysburg. I'm so glad we did. We had fresh peach in a waffle cone. It was the best fresh peach we've ever had, and the waffle cone was so fresh. Yum!!

As a local you have your favorite places to go, and Mr. G's is the place for ice cream. The staff is always friendly and the decision on what flavor to enjoy is the hardest part. Every flavor is so good. When in Gettysburg don't miss stopping by Mr. G's and if you have a furry kid, they have pup cups!
