"Mud Hen Water had one of the more unique menus out of all the places we ate in Hawaii, with dishes that were an interesting fusion of Japanese, traditional Hawaiian, and many other cuisines.My favorite dish was the handmade pasta with venison, which was absolutely delicious and caused my wife to almost abandon her meal to try and eat mine. Hers was also fantastic, a crispy chicken dish that was tender, well-seasoned and really juicy.With excellent service, great food, and a laid-back atmosphere, Mud Hen Water is a strong recommendation for anyone in the Honolulu area looking for a unique dinner spot."

Enjoyed thoroughly. Been multiple times for brunch and dinner. Relaxed and informal on picnic tables outside. Interesting and tasty food option based on local produce and heritage cuisine.

Great service and great food!We had the lemonade and a shot of healthy greens for a boost.We had the fish ? fresh catch and he'e which was tako. Their take on a lobster roll and it was absolutely ? cooked to perfection!

Very friendly staff! Attentive on water and clearing dishes! I appreciate staff packing my food up as opposed to bringing me a box, that's how service should be everywhere. Had some great food, ordered a lot to share -try-and bring home leftovers. We are foodies. A few of the plates needed better seasoning and some salt but we also had some outstanding items too. Overall it was a great experience and we will go back for sure!
