"I found this place by accident while driving down Jericho one day, and it did not disappoint at all. The staff was very nice and inviting from the second I walked in, they helped me and my wife order the sushi bowls and we’re just so pleasant to deal with. And when we finally got our food it was nothing other than amazing especially considering the price. 10/10 will definitely be back."

pork katsu was edible, chicken katsu dried, rice undercooked hard like pebble, noodle no seasoning, no sauce, plain dried flavorless noodle, chicken taste like not good cut, dried and hard just salty, left more than 1/2 of the food, not worth money

The customer service was very good! I told them that it was my first time and asked for a recommendation. The new employee at the register (who was very nice and helpful) recommended the chicken and shrimp dish. The other lady came over and spoke with me as if I was a long time friend. If I could give the meal and experience 6 stars I would. Definitely give this place a try!

"The food was very good; the main waiter was very kind but his 2 other waitresses made a few mistakes. The menu on OpenTable is different than what they gave us- price-wise and food-wise. Lastly, there was a very loud family behind us and it was so distracting. It seemed like an off night."

The key to getting good food from any Chinese takeout place is knowing which dishes are their specialty. It might involve some trial and error, but you can always ask the chef or cashier for their favorite dishes to try. I highly recommend the General Tso's Chicken and the Garlic Chicken, which come with a variety of vegetables and delicious flavors. The Egg Rolls are also tasty and crunchy. The Shrimp Fried Rice and Lo Mein are good choices as well. If you're looking for something really spicy, go for the Singapore Mei Fun - it packs a lot of heat! The service is typical for a takeout place, but the staff is friendly enough. They work long hours and are open even on most holidays, indicating that it is likely a family-run business. I am a big supporter of these independent, non-franchised businesses, as they seem to be disappearing. "Salvatore, Anna, and the excellent team at Salvatore's of Elmont created an enjoyable and memorable night for our party of 40 people. The outdoor seating was comfortable and accommodating. The food was served piping hot, which I appreciate, and was delicious; there was a lot more than we could finish and we took home dishes for lunch tomorrow.
