"AWESOME! Loved It. Pub food? No way! This is not your typical pub food. The food here could rival most restaurants in the state. These guys are really taking the gastropub concept seriously and I would highly recommend eating here during your visit to Walla Walla. The wine selection is great (some great Walla Walla selections), but the greatest part are the great libations that are created behind the bar. The owners, Matt and Jim, are great at what they do and welcome you with a warm smile...but the staff has equal passion and professionalism. Not worth the hype but good. The truffle fries are yummy, though our table received our dipping sauces 3/4 through that appetizer. The cheese plate is attractive and tasty, but I'd like more than 3 cheeses and I'd like at least one variety to be exciting, even a bit daring. The pork belly was excellent, sans the watermelon salad. Friendly staff.

The Public Burger was superb! Not your typical burger at all! The combination of burger, bacon, cheddar cheese, pickled onions, and aioli on a ciabatta bun was simply delish! The shoestring fries were tasty as well.......a seasoning that is hard to explain but very good! I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere was relaxed, comfortable, and fancy, but not highfalutin.

Jlinolsen. My husband and I went here while I was in Walla Walla for the night. I loved the atmosphere with its trendy, relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the hangar steak with crushed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. I love it! The steak was perfectly cooked and the potatoes were tasteful. My husband had the public burger and thought it was good, but not except this world. I'd go back!
