"I have read mixed reviews on The Red Snapper Inn, and don't have a ton of experience with this place going back years and years like some of the other reviewers. The place is dated somewhat, but I appreciate the charm that creates. It does feel like taking a step back in time somewhat, and the setting is very dark and cozy. Great variety, excellent flavors, great service! Our go to restaurant in Surfside. A long standing, traditional seafood restaurant.

We may return and try something else. We had the baked snapper which was decent it could have been a bit more moist. The second dish was bacon wrapped oysters which were not good. Weird tasting. We love oysters but not these. The included salads and dressings were good as was the table bread. The salad dressings are made in house.

Been coming to Surfside for years, first time we tried this place and it was amazing!! Gumbo appetizer was delicious, then our main course, Snapper Pontchartrain and Greek Snapper absolutely delicious, couldn’t finish We were so stopped so got it to go for a nice lunch tomorrow. We will definitely be back! Our server was awesome too!
