"I landed here after finding the Slipway in Thomaston closed. This is some of the worst food I have had in I can’t remember how long. The beer was skunked. And heavy handed. I was directed to the “Storm Surge” after I was told by the bartender that my first choice was referred to by patrons as “dirty dish water”. The storm surge was no better The fish and chips was greasy, not crisp, and the batter was raw on a few places. The fries were frozen McCain at best. This should be avoided at all cost. There are plenty of great choices in the area. Follow up: the food poisoning came in with a vengeance!!!!!"

We had a great time at this restaurant on our rainy Monday night. The bartender was entertaining, the beer was tasty, and our Haddock sandwich and Fish Chips were perfect choices.
