"So, to be honest, the food here is phenomenal. I love the fried Green Beans, but the manager is extremely prejudice. And she actually lets his show through her actions. I frequently visit there and today. I was there on the phone speaking with someone about experience. They were having at a hospital and I made the comment. If you were a different color then they wouldn't treat you. That way, this lady went out of her way to act a fool about the comment I made to somebody. I was on the phone talking to as if. It was her business and then had to learn to tell me that I'm in her restaurant.Having that type of conversation I can talk about anything I want to on my phone and I shouldn't be subje...

I've been here for two weeks now in Mississippi, and I have to say I've had some pretty awful meals , but of course on the last day here I find this AWESOME eatery great price great staff amazing food had the Crab Cakes, Steak 8oz with loaded potato and a side salad and was exactly what I have been looking for. I WILL BE BACK Wheelchair accessibility: Has ramp right at front door

Decided to stop by on a long road trip and so glad we did! Had the grilled grouper sandwich, and it was great! Large portion and not overloaded with salt. The onion rings were crispy and done just right. Got the cup of gumbo but wished I had gotten the bowl! Then, we ended the meal with Rusty's Mississippi Mud Cake! Wow! Definitely worth a stop for a bite if you're in the area or traveling along I20.

"Arrived to have to wait approx 20 minutes not a problem-understandable). Went to bar and ordered two drinks $23). Female bar tender was really short and snotty to us. When the table became available, it was in the hottest corner of the place in direct sunlight under a tv with a broken window shade). Ive had better experiences at food trucks. Go to the Italian place across the street. Much cooler and friendly!"

"If you're going for dinner, you'll likely be in for a small wait but it's definitely worth it! The staff is amazing and kept their cool even when in the weeds. This is a great place for some good food downtown."

"Damn good food! Great customer service, I'm terrible with name, but the guy who made my food and took my order my first time, was very polite and had a conversation with me as we know a while! Just great to the people of the earth! Who has eaten here or in the Bovina Café knows that the best food comes from these little places like this, which are honest people who care about their customers. Great place for a Poboy!"

"My husband and I traveled from Atlanta Ga back to Fort Worth Texas and we stayed in Mississippi to rest and have dinner. We decided to try Gumbo Pot because it was not so far from our hotel. We saw on the line on the map do that we know exactly what we wanted when we arrived at the restaurant. We're coming and going in and it was so crowded that we couldn't even see the counter. Finally, we realized that it was covered by ppl waiting for a table and ppl tried to place an order. We're finally here to order. And she takes our orders, we'll tell her it's an order, and then she says you want to typ us now? So my husband gives her a $5.00 tip for our order. She tells us that it will be about 25 minutes, so we decided to wait outside just because she said when upur order is ready, we call you inside to get it. After 20 minutes, my husband says I'll be there if our order is ready that he goes in and the food just sits on the counter and no one thought we'd even call us in to get it! You get your tip after we get our meal. I think that was a bad customer service. The guy stood in there waiting for his order, told us that our meals were up there on the counter for at least 5 to 6 minutes? I just give them three because the food was great. Fried Catfish, French fries roll, and hush puppies. The food was great and I would definitely recommend this restaurant, only thing is customer service was not so great?"
