"Five stars for the absolute best pizza we have had in a very long time, possibly ever, outside of Italy. Perfectly cooked Sicilian crust with sweet marinara sauce and just the right amount of cheese and spices. We also had the giant gnocchi pillows with blush sauce. This gnocchi is not the typical ridged tiny dumpling, it is much larger and more airy in texture. We enjoyed the gnocchi but the pizza was the star of the meal. The pie is huge and well-priced. For a sleepy off-season shore town, the restaurant was pretty busy. The decor of the restaurant is colorful and modern with attractive art and comfortable seating. Definitely check this place out and without a doubt, order the pizza."

Beautiful Restaurant, friendly staff, and AMAZING food! Highly recommend going with an empty stomach and ordering the toasted gnocchi with blush sauce! Request John to serve you! He is very timely and helpful with choices, Dave also is very friendly and happy to help! Bring your friends and family you will not regret!

Absolutely the worst experience ever! He waited for our meal for half an hour. Have a glimpse and don't even think about coming here. After the question of the extended waiting period, the staff even has a point to ask us whether we were locals to see if it was worth the effort to make it right. The owner never approached us over the whole ordeal as they were too busy playing on their phone. Food was certainly not worth waiting! Would you also like to add the restaurant was not in full capacity.

Outstanding food- awful takeout service!! Saltwater has literally amazing Italian food, no one can deny that. The chicken parm, pasta and house salad were all amazing!! Loved it. However, as another reviewer mentioned, the takeout service really needs to be managed and overseen. No one ever called to let us know that our order was ready (as they tell you to wait for), no extra marinara sauce as I had ordered and I asked for a side of rigatoni....they gave us a whole meal with meatballs and charged us. To sum it up, I would absolutely order from Saltwater again, just double-check it upon arrival and don't wait for them to call you.....
