No staff were in sight so we decided to sit at the bar. After several minutes of not seeing a single employee, one guy comes walking behind the bar, head down in his phone and just keeps walking. Always a friendly fun vibe. The games are fun the courts are usually open and clean. Call ahead if it’s VB season and you plan on brining a big group with you because they might only have a few courts open. But everyone is pretty friendly and communicates that. Such a great spot for teens and you get kids since they can sit in one of the more open areas and plays it’s the sand. SAND COURTS BTW. they have a nice area for you to wash the sand off at the end of your visit. Very considerate. They have two outdoor bars and their food menu grew a lot in the past two years. Great options and pretty accommodating.

This place is one of my favorite places in San Antonio! To start, the management and staff are incredibly kind, professional and make a great effort to ensure a quality experience for all guests. Luis specifically helped me sort out a volleyball reservation with efficiency and consideration. The volleyball community that has been created at Sideliners are an amazing group of people and it’s always a good time. If you want to create happy memories filled with laughter, good drinks and volleyball- go to sideliners! If volleyball isn’t your thing, there are karaoke nights and other events so peek over at their socials to check it out.
