"My wife and I were sitting at the bar for a few drinks. Bartender was great. Loved the walnut bar upstairs and local beers. We have crabcakes I liked very much. They were not “soggy” as so many crab cakes are. These had beautiful pieces of crabs and red peppers, coated in Panko. I split peas soup with ham and it was great. I have Delmonico Steak, medium rare and it was fantastic. The mushroom sauce was beautiful and did not exaggerate the steak. It came with the choice of chef, the lubricated sweet potatoes and green beans, both very good. My wife had Tournedos au Poivre, who was also very good. She's got green beans and a potato-u-grain thing. Our waitress and bartender were excellent. Sob...

Bryant and I went for the first time last night and everything was excellent! Caribbean Ruck broasted wings were the best taste ever! The tomato soup was fleshy and tasteful without the acidity, and the duck was so tasteful and unique on the homemade corn tortilla. We will definitely come back!

I went to a tasting in Sobie's restaurant in Oconomowoc this evening and found it a pleasant experience from the beginning to the end. The atmosphere and decor were beautiful and welcoming. The service was impeccable — my waterglass and coffee cup were never empty, and the waiting staff was attentive and friendly. The Walleye and side dishes were delicious, fresh and generous in their portions! I cannot say enough good things about our experience and would highly recommend this restaurant.
