"First off, I highly recommend Sunshine Seafood Cafe. The food is outstanding and the staff works so hard to take care of YOU. However, i do love reading the negative reviews from people who clearly don't understand where they are (that's sarcasm). I gives me great perspective on the spoiled, rude people that unfortunately vacation her. Let's take a moment to understand...Sunshine Seafood Cate is on an island, about a 1 hour one way drive for their employees and food delivery. Not to mention the clear labor shortage that makes it a bigger challenge for restaurants like this to survive. If you want your taste buds wowed with every bite, this is your place. Everything is so fresh and the seafood amazing. The blind pass shrimp appetizer had such a unique flavor. The daily specials along with the main menu items brought us back several times on our trip to Captiva. Sunshine cafe was one of the highlights of our trip.

Hidden Gem!!! We stumbled across this restaurant during a search and am so glad that we did! We had the Brussels Sprout appetizer to start. It was yummy with the bacon and goat cheese. For entrees, we had the seafood paella and the stuffed grouper special. Both were packed with so much flavor and really highlighted the seafood. The wine list is great, the service was wonderful! We will recommend to everyone we know!
