"With respect to Bistro Barberet Bakery in Lancaster, Pa, if you have never dined there, you're missing out. We have dined here before, although not in recent months and have also taken home exquisitely crafted desserts from the bakery. They are EYE CANDY, to be sure and eat as good as they look. Thursday is Oyster Night and we settled for a 1/2 dozen beauties from Prince Edward Isle. Escargot and the Quenelle De Lyon (basically a fish souffle, with shrimp, gruyere cheese, a creole sauce and herbs) were appetizer choices as well. They were outstanding. The 3 piece Quenelle offering is served in a mini-cast iron pan, finished under the broiler. Mouth watering as I am writing this. My wife opted for the Butcher's Cut of the night which was an 8oz Filet Mignon served in a light green peppercorn and cremini mushroom sauce, accompanied by ricotta gnocchi. Perfectly cooked; it melted in your mouth. I opted for the salmon entree. The only word that comes to mind is SUBLIME. Cooked to perfection and served with a light heavenly sauce. We did leave room for dessert and here at the Bistro you are free to go back into the bakery and choose whatever is in the case. Meredith was our most competent server this evening and we spent a little time talking with him. It was a perfect night and a perfect meal. Very nice hand crafted cocktails and a beautiful wine list offering glass and bottle service. Not to be missed. Street metered parking and two extremely close parking lots nearby. "I'm not one to finish my food when dining out, but Kung Fu Tea's popcorn chicken had me licking my fingers! It was so yummy, and the fact that I could request less salt made it even better. And don't get me started on the honey black tea – it was absolutely perfect! To top it off, the service was super fast and the staff were incredibly friendly. Highly recommended this place for a delightful treat!"

"I would absolutely give this place 5 stars…if the hours were better. I understand everywhere is short staffed right now but some people don’t even get home from work by the time this place closes. They stop taking pickup orders online at 6:30pm… that makes it really hard to be able to order dinner from here during the week when I work. If they could stay open until 7:30/8 I swear I’d eat here several nights a week and I’d give them 5 stars! AMAZING food!"

"I've never eaten trinidadian, I was excited to try this place and they haven't disappointed. the herbal curry had a lot of weight to him, was very well seasoned and tasteful, and went amazingly closed with the busses. the curry was not mudy at all and was really a great dish. the curry was not watery and was quite thick. also the spicy pepper beef was very good. I wouldn't say it was spicy, but was sweet and also explode in the taste. while the bark was slightly chewing, the soße is really amazing. eating rice and keeping the buses in the sauce was my favorite part of the meal. another amazing court here. besides the escaped they gave 3 sauces. the Habanero sauce was here the spiciest thing, but I wouldn't eat it with my two deer, as they are already strong in taste. the garlic sauce was beautiful and creamy. but I honestly could not remember the third sauce. Overall, I really enjoyed my first time here and would like to eat here again. especially to the ruck huh and whatever they offer."

"Falafels are vegan. What I really like in this place are the dressing options. You have all vegan dressing except 1. They even have vegan Caesar Dressing. I'd rather have the Veggies over the Falafels, or you can half and half. The roasted vegetables are fantastic, they are best around. Updated by previous review on 2022-03-20"
