"Great dinner. Friendly staff. Schnitzel was wonderful... Tip spread some of the DELICIOUS garlic butter that they had with the bread on the carving when warm... it melts into the coating... Great. Don't worry to taste the Croation wines....our was delicious! One of the best meals of our trip!"

"We came to lunch at the weekend and both ordered some burgers with pommes and beer. The beer was nice- but you know it's a beer house, but the food was disappointing: the pulled pork in my burger was missing something, the total number of burgers was nothing bad, but yes, Bland, forgot. My fries were as crazy and I couldn't eat them, so the waitress suggested to change them that I found pretty nice. The last bill was far above the quality of what we had. I don't think we're back for dinner at least."

"I admit to my disappointment when I discovered that the Zum Simonbrau restaurant has been under new management since my last visit in September 2017. The restaurant, next to the old Bitburg brewery WAS, is one of my favorite restaurants in Bitburg. It seems to be an upscale steak house with Argentine beef and offered little of what I loved to eat there. In the past, there was always a recommendation from the boss and this is usually what I ordered. My fallback dish is always cingue carving and I was disappointed that it wasn't on the menu either. They offered Wiener Schnitzel and Jagerschnitzel. In Fairness for the restaurant, I asked them if they could make pine carvings for me and committed them. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The peppers were too crisp and the sauce was not typical. My wife ordered Veal Cordon Bleu and she was very happy with it. The salads and potatoes were both pretty good. The service was very good and of course you cannot go wrong Bitburger Pils order. I do not expect to eat here again and wish them success as Steak House."
