"Seward’s best dinner location by far! We didn’t make reservations so we went on the waitlist for bar seating. It didn’t take long and we right in the middle of the action. The bearded bartender was a professional and from watching everyone else the restaurant runs like a top! We had the fish of the day, cashew appetizers and I had 2 oysters but I could have had just the oysters. Dessert was chocolate mix which like everything else was perfect. I honestly was very happy at the bar. We talked to other folks and the bartender was super attentive. I would 100% recommend people eat here!!"

The Cookery lives up to the hype! The food is similar to farm to table, and everything we ordered was delicious! It's definitely the best place to eat in Seward and my best meal in Alaska (Anchorage and Juneau)!

This dinner experience was the overall best we had in our 3 weeks in Alaska. The tri tip, halibut and cream cheese ice cream (wow!! were excellent, as was the service. Yes, it’s a bit Alaska pricey but this time, it was definitely worth it!
