"Buyer beware! Though the appearance of this restaurant would have you believe you are eating at your typical base area restaurant, in fact you are eating at a Four Seasons hotel restaurant. I met a friend there for lunch today, this was our experience: We both ordered a meal salad and asked for grilled salmon to be added. When our salads arrived at the table I commented that the portion was that of an appetizer. The salmon was literally a half portion as compared to any time I have ever ordered this same meal at another restaurant. I spent a week at the Four Seasons and made a daily visit to Handle Bar for drinks, snacks, or an early dinner. The staff was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the food was enjoyable. Expect to spend around $30 to $50 per person.

We've been visiting this restaurant for years, and it never disappoints. Although there's often a bit of a wait due to its popularity, that’s no problem since we’re on vacation. If you want immediate seating, just make a reservation elsewhere. The pretzels here are simply the best, no question about it. The service, food, and drinks are consistently excellent.

This place trades on its location; it reflects the opposite of the service that Four Seasons should be known for. Please don't waste precious time during your skiing day at this establishment. We arrived early to beat the lunch rush. Most of the restaurant was empty. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait. Fine. After 20 minutes I checked in and was told they were just cleaning the table. The restaurant was still half empty. Fine. After another ten minutes i was told that the table was paying and would leave soon (directly contradicting the prior statement). We were eventually shown to one of the tables that had been empty when we arrived 40 minutes earlier.
