"A great experience!!! From the amazing views over Gstaad, beautiful landscape and garden, to the super nice service (we had a dog that they prepared a special meal for), to the succulent dishes!!! Don’t miss the area specialty the émincé de vœu with rôstic and mushrooms!!! I’d even drive 2hrs for this experience ! A must do restaurant if you’re around "

"Unfortunately none of the staff spoke German, despite the proximity to the German-speaking part of the Gstaad region. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great. Away from the hustle and bustle and yet in just under 10 minutes on foot in the village/train station. Our junior suite was beautifully designed with lots of wood, a Nespresso machine and a fireplace! We really enjoyed the view of the mountains from the balcony. The breakfast was ok. We had dinner at the hotel twice. Once in le roc and once in the bar. We were thrilled both times! We'd love to come back! "Der Wirt scheint es nicht mehr nötig zu haben auf Gasfreundschaft zu achten. Das Essen war ok jedoch niemals den Preis wert (es war gut, kann man jedoch in jeglicher Pizzeria noch besser haben . Wir waren dem Wirt wohl nicht chic genug und mussten entsprechend mehrmals die Bedienung rufen (für Getränke Weinbestellung, leere Pfeffermühle am Tisch, usw. . Rougemont bietet nicht viele Restaurants an, wir haben uns jedoch in den anderen viel wohler gefühlt und hatten geschmackvolleres Essen (ist dann wohl auch Geschmacksache... ich fand jedoch die Trattoria wirklich ungemütlich und nicht gastfreundlich und kann sie nicht weiterempfehlen."

"A typical Swiss restaurant that unfortunately did not meet my expectations of Swiss quality. Rösti tasted dry, as if they were not freshly prepared but warmed up. Burnt onions. With the Pinsa, the ratio of dough to topping was unbalanced, so it was a bit dry. The worst experience, however, was the service. When we asked if we could have some sauce with the rösti, we reluctantly accepted. But the sauce never came, the rösti got cold, and the waiter then deliberately ignored our table. At the end there was a pro forma apology saying that unfortunately he had forgotten. At least, in fairness, the bill was reduced somewhat in the end. But that's not enough to make you want to come back or recommend a visit."
