"5 of us went in at 7:45 pm for ice cream only. they already had the section blocked off for large parties so we had to sit at multiple tables. the cashier was asked why and we were told that section had already been cleaned for the last time that night.Other customers came in as we were ordering and had to do the same and then there was no room to sit down so another customerwent over and sat down at the cleaned section . When they left one of the employees came around and slammed the chairs into thetable. I had two of my younger grandchildren with me that night and I 'm not happy with the way this employee was acting. Whywould you close off a section 2 hours before you close? If your going to do so then at least be curtious if you have to reopenit because a lot of customers come in at one time and there 's no place to sit but there. This is the second time this hashappened here and when we asked at the previous visit if we could sit there anyway we were told I guess so even though it 'salready been cleaned. The person that owns this DQ in Clifton Forge, VA needs to have some customer service training with theiremployees or if you have cameras in the facility look in the vacinity of 7:45 pm on 10/8/22. you will see how your employees actin front of PAYING customers."

"Can't say enough good things about Jack Mason's Tavern and Brewery. The menu is extensive without being overwhelming, with lots of options for pretty much any picky eater. Then you have the daily specials on top of that and it's pure heaven. Recently had the prime rib and it was fabulous! Cooked perfectly and served by the best staff we've experienced anywhere. Their signature brews made right on the premises are the perfect compliment. Top it off with the most attentive and friendliest owners/hosts in Ann and Michael and Jack's is a place you can't go wrong."

"This spot came highly recommended by locals who raved about it. They have an extensive menu with nachos, appetizers, garlic bread and knots, pizza, salads, subs, etc. Legit tons of stuff to choose from to please just about anyone. We did a pickup order the day after Christmas when not much else was open nearby. The food was ready quickly and was all correct. We ordered a large specialty pizza, 14 bone in wings, garlic knots, cheesecake and a chicken sub. A lot of food for about $50. The chicken sub was very good and huge for the like $7 or so. The pizza was kinda floppy but loaded with toppings and tasted fresh and good. The wings were crispy and good. The garlic knots were good but came with only one small thing of marinara that wasn't even close to being enough for all of them. Overall a great three star experience for take out."

"Stumbled across this diner on our way home from the beach. Excellent service and delicious appetizers, large portion entrees and some of the nicest employees in Virginia! They were also making apple butter outside available for sale, what a treat! Love the small town, old-school diner feel and they made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend the tater barrels loaded with absolutely everything and the chicken wrap was scrumptious ????"
