"We walked in and it wasn't busy (probably should have been our clue) and we ere seated right away. Promptly got a beer and our order place. Then the waitress just disappeared for around 50 minutes. We got the salad bar so we ate, and ate, and ate salad. We both ran out of drinks, would have liked more garlic bread and the wife finally found where the napkins are kept so we at least had napkins. After 50 minutes we saw our waitress. The wife chased her down (didn't come to check on us) and asked when our food would be coming out. She disappeared again and a few minutes later came back with our meals. I was then asked for drinks and bread, she said the bread would be extra, really, wow. By this time we had filled up on salad anyway. So we got to go containers and left. I realize this isn't fast food but no service at all. Will not be back!"

"I went to Paul's for breakfast late last week. One of the employees greeted me and asked me to wait to each be seated. Once this was accomplished the waitress gave me a menu and took my drink order. And in an instant, she was back with my drink and took my order. I ate the full order of sausage gravy and biscuits. Overall I would give them two thumbs up!! ?? The service was good. The food was above average. And the waitress was easy on my eyes. I can't wait to go try a good old fashion hamburger and fries. Wonder if I will luck out and get the same waitress? Tell you about my next visit as soon as it happens."

"The place has a definitely homestyle, country feeling, with NASCAR decorations along the wall. And the menus seem to be updated using white-out and hand-written prices. The food was very good. I don't know if I'd go out of my way to eat here, but it's on US 17, and we were driving south, so we stopped by to eat. I got the 2 hotcakes and sausage and my wife got the truckers special (a beef fritter, eggs, and potatoes), and we shared the toast. All of the food was very good and very filling. In fact, we didn't have room for dessert! And like other people are saying, bring cash."

"Terrible food ,AGAIN! We tried this place 3 times now ,no difference in the first 2 times. Ordered salad bar ,nothing but lettuce ,cucumbers and tomatoes, just very little dressing. 2 couples came in wanted salad bar, but left cause wasn't nothing on salad bar,so they lost 4 more customers. My uncle ordered grilled cheese ,cheese wasn't even melted,husband's burger was cooked way to long, probably couldn't use a knife to cut it. For the prices ,they should have a better cook and service.. We will not be back again."
