"The Weintanne is a cozy restaurant and bar with a small menu and a very extensive drink list. We had no issue getting an early table on a Friday night, but later on a Saturday it was packed. The staff handled everything well, and even...made me a specialty drink that I requested that was not on the menu. Although the drinks are craftily made, they do take quite a while. My husband had the Ox Tail and it was delicious I had the goat cheese stuffed zucchini and we had mixed feelings. However, all seemed fresh and well prepared. Will visit again"

Lovely traditional food served by a really friendly bar lady! Lots of choice including some vegetarian dishes. They have a half price offer on some dishes between as well as a student price menu need student ID. Nice selection of German and...international wines. Recommend the Thueringia Pfanne and the Baked Camembert as a snack

Best cocktails in Jena! A must! I cannot judge nor rate the food as I have not eaten here yet, but the drinks are just amazing! The main Bartender is an artist with his martini shakers and bottle flipping, but he doesn't just deliver a...show, his dazzling drinks are his priorities with high class service! Love this place and can't wait to go back. Will be back by Tripadvisor also to rate the food ;
