"We almost passed this restaurant by, but I'm sure glad we didn't! We stopped for lunch on a Tuesday with our three children. The kids' meals off the Keiki menu were delicious, both the burgers and the teriyaki beef (which was tender, flavorful slices of beef rather than the usual meat drowning in sauce). My husband enjoyed his quesadilla and my fish and chips were light and delicious. The soup and salad bar was the highlight of our meal though. If lettuce with ranch is your thing, you can have that, but give the pickles daikon, onions, bean sprouts and beets a try, you won't regret it!"

Burger very tender and tasty! Medium is more medium rare to my taste but that’s my fault for not asking for medium well. Garlic fries tasty and not overpowering with garlic (I should have asked for extra garlic cuz I’m a garlic nut! Great, friendly service.

If you're headed to Waimea, stop at Wrangler's Steakhouse for lunch. Order the Kau Kau tin (tempura shrimp and veggies; barbecued chicken or steak; rice and kimchee), served with iced tea in a fruit jar and trips to the soup and salad bar. Sit in the shaded, open air back room, and enjoy delicious food and a step back to earlier days on Kauai.

On June 18th I had honor of celebrating my birthday at Wranglers Steakhouse with my 2 cousin's. We were greeted by non other then the beautiful owner Colleen Vidinha Faye. I always enjoy returning back there because of the great service, the Aloha that comes naturally from her local emplyees as well as the wonderful service, not to mention the ONO food that's always prepared. Mahalo for making my day so special.... Ala Kaleohano

"We stopped at the Brewhaus for dinner on a Sunday evening. Based on other reviews, I asked about getting a burrito with tofu. The waitresses response was You won 't get any tofu here . They were out of guacamole so the options seemed more limited. I ordered the black bean and rice burrito, hold the cheese. The burrito comes with a dish they call won bok slaw . I asked if the slaw was vegan and the waitress said she believed it was but would mark the order as vegan and check with the chef as he was very knowledgeable about vegan food. She never got back to me. A different waitress delivered the food, I again asked if the slaw was vegan. She said that it contained no meat. I asked if it contained any dairy or mayo. Her response No, it 's vegan, it 's a honey mustard dressing. (clearly not vegan). Some of the people in our group ordered food that should have included guacamole. There was no compensation offered (we ordered chips and salsa which could have been offered in leu of the guacamole or they could have reduced the amount they charged us). Speaking of the chips, they were not very tasty. They were slightly burned and had no salt. I had to flag down a waitress to get salt. I really wanted to like this place. The food we got was pretty good but it sounds like the options for vegans have diminished over time. The wait staff was not very accommodating. No one came by to check if we needed anything or if we wanted refills on our water."
