"When we first moved to Seguin, 1838 was the first restaurant we tried. We enjoy dining here because the restaurant is always busy, the food is delicious, and the staff is very friendly. Our children love chatting with the waitress, and sometimes they even receive a complimentary cup of fruit. Overall, the atmosphere is welcoming, the food is great, and the service is top-notch. The food was fantastic! The service was exceptional, the best I have experienced in years! Raquel S. made sure our drinks were always filled, checked on us regularly, and even went above and beyond to cater to our needs. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 5, the service a rating of 5, and the atmosphere a rating of 4.

I have visited this restaurant many times! We travel to San Marcos just for the excellent food and service. I wish there were more choices on the menu, but I had the Reuben sandwich. The pork, chopped steak, chicken salad, and roasted green beans were all delicious, but the best part was the coconut cake and lemon cake. I can't wait to go back again!
