"I went here because it was rated decently high. Apparently the restaurant is newly owned by a former employee. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME. The place was not even full and 2 of us ended up spending almost 2 hours of our time here. The burger I had was definitely substandard (The beef was tasteless, like watered down, and rubbery. and the Poutine was made with Mozzarella Cheese. There were locals there who didn't have a good experience either. Apparently when the original owners were there everything was way better and that's where they got all the good reviews from. To be fair, my Mom's Fried Chicken was excellent but still even with that my Mom said it wasn't worth the wait or the poor service."

"Scallops were absolute perfection. Light, almost fluffy, and sweet. Service was wonderful. Nicole (I believe) took care of our table very well, she was very attentive. The atmosphere was pretty Pleasant, quiet and welcoming. The only thing that was underwhelming were the two strip steaks which were supposed to be boneless, they were dry and slightly overcooked to our liking. The broccoli was phenomenal. Mashed potatoes were bland and chunky."

"What an amazing little bakery, where the staff is friendly and the food is delicious! I spied a little artwork on that wall with this so very true quote, meals memories are made here. A friend turned me on to this place, retelling me her first time in Connie 's original kitchen before we got to Hardwick at least 5 times before. I had to visit and CK delivered. This is my 3rd time here this week. Today, I had a delicious, roast beef, chedder, garlic avocado spread on oatmeal molasses toast dubbed the Green Donkey . the spread was nice and creamy and not to overwhelming with the garlic. Visitors may argue that the meal price might be a little high but when you factor in the homemade touch that it took to pull together such yumminess, you have to stop and say, it was well worth it.
