"Food is excellent! I had the Shrimp Baja Style Burrito. The shrimp was huge. The chips are small and delicious. One for dinner. Note: The place is a bit difficult to find. A little bit smaller. I don't care about the size, but the food... just wonderful. Very recommended. They opened a dine in the restaurant, see picture."

"Welcomed addition to the Newberg scene. There was a little confusion on who our server was initially. A couple of mistakes with the table setting and a menu issue. Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. I had the Croque Madame, it was delicious with the egg perfectly cooked. My friend had the Spicy Oregon Shrimp Tartine, she really enjoyed it. It was a pleasure having English sea salt table side, but I had to ask for it."

"Went for dinner on a Saturday evening and were presented with the weirdest service experience in recent memory. We realized that we hadn't even seen our salads after an hour. Then salads and mains came at the same time, only after being pretty vocal about our meal. Ordered a glass of Pinot Gris, and will never know what was actually delivered. It was the only glass of orange pinot gris I have ever seen. Entrees, when finally delivered, were cold and bland. Empanadas were absolutely tasteless. Two of our party had ordered 2 glasses of pinot noir to be served at dinner, but nothing was delivered. When asked, two glasses of GSM were brought to the table. those were returned.The waiter apologized multiple times, with no improvement to the service. The manager/bartender/ possible owner? tried to fix the situation by stepping into help, but it was too far gone. He then ended up comping the drinks delivered to the table, some of which had been ordered, some not.The food at Sub-Terra is Sub-Par. The service borders on comical. Where are these 5-star reviews coming from? It was the worst meal from every possible perspective that any of us could recall."

"Their happy hour is amazing! Food quantity is absurd and it’s delicious. I ordered the chicken fingers and tots for $7 off their happy hour menu and there was enough chicken for 3 full chicken sandwiches as they were basically breasts they weren’t actually tenders/fingers at all! They were very moist and crispy. My partner ordered the burger and he loved its flavours. It was also sizeable."
