VERY pricey for casual Santa Cruz. They used to have a very popular happy hour with great specials at the bar for stylish yet affordable food but that has been eliminated. Usually I am not one to complain about price a high priced meal can still be a great value for me. But Alderwood is over-priced for this market. A cheeseburger and side of fries is $30. Jack's down the street will give you that for a third of the price and very nearly as good. I don't trust places that charge by the oz. for a steak 40/oz, 4 oz minimum). There must be people who order such dishes but I don't know them.

Do not go here when you're celebrating an event. One of the first questions they ask when you book online is what occasion you are booking for... I wrote in the description that I was celebrating my partners birthday. But literally NO ONE acknowledged it. EVER. They seemed to never even notice or acknowledge what my response was. So, why even ask?? Right? We paid over $300 for 3 people to be ignored on a birthday celebration.
