"I visited Alex's Place twice in July and twice in October 2017. After my experiences there, this is most definitely my go to place for food when I stop in Batavia. I stop in there at about 3:30 to 4:30 for an early dinner. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I sat at a table for two against the wall, which was fine. I have visited West New York for the last 20 years at least once. We discovered Alex's Place in 1996-97 and it has become our meeting place for dinner or lunch when we visit Batavia. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have tried a few of their different offers, but I will probably order the baby back ribs! Prices are also quite reasonable, especially given the quality of food.

The food was delicious, had steak, potato and salad with fresh bread....ALL very delicious. Our waitress, Rose, was very friendly and helpful during the meal. But I can't say the same for the hostess who sat us and some other waitresses. Remember ladies, you work on tips and I tap on service I received not only because it is the right thing to do. But I gave 5 because of the server. Thank you, Rose!
