"This place is amazing all around! I’ve been there when they were called Semola and I was a fan of this place. Ambrogio By Acquerello is just leveled up. We were in a group of 4 people. Two of us got the Chef’s Signature tasting menu, and the other two friends got the vegetarian tasting menu. The entire 7 courses tasting menu was incredibly delish. I can’t highly enough about the food. It’s hard to tell my favorite dish because they are so different and have a different mix of flavors. As I am a pescatarian, they replaced the duck course with the vegetarian one. Honestly, I would have that vegetarian Rossini again. I took pictures of most dishes, but some I couldn’t wait and eat before! Haha...

The duck dishes and desserts were mediocre. The surprise omlet was a somewhat pompous guess what 's in here exchange with the waitress. The bathroom is out in the little mall.

ambrogio by acquarello is a total work of art culinary experience! the magie is used in the very creative and surprising combination of ingredients to inspire both eyes and taste buds. recommend this delicious restaurant that is intended for the stars, right there in la jolla!

the whole experience was incredible. the tasting menu was unexpected and we were very pleasantly surprised. the focus on the palate and the combination of aromen sent us on a culinary journey. we have made the wine pairing that was selected and delivered by one of the owners who was so friendly and passionate about any choice. we had such a special meal.
