"Immediately when entering the owners imagined themselves, Bobby and Arlene, as if went to introduce most of the family they work there. They then led us through the menu what they thought are the house specialties. The chili, red and green are the stars. We loved our new Mexican style stories enchiladas done Christmas style. Family recipes, family environment, family business. We will return. So much to love in this small, inconceivable place right on the edge of the city. P.S. walking nearby is great."

If there are more than 5 stars to rate, I'd rate even higher! The food, the owners/family make this the best of all time! Best authentic Mexican food, the best of people, community-oriented and participation... what I can say. People's Choice Award goes to... Arlene 's Beans!

Fantastic dinner, great service, friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere!!! My chicken chimi in green chili was fantastic!!! Thanks Arlene!!! Tell your nephew he has to move here because he makes the best margaritas in town. Thanks for the Churros too. In any case it is recommended.

It's time the Tri-Lakes area has a decent Mexican dining area. We often travel to Santa Fe and Arlenes beans rival most places in this area. The red sauce is tasteful and spicy, while the green is some of the best large-batch green chili in the area. The line was long, but she went well, and the food was ready to go within five minutes.
