"Felt obligated to leave this review because exceptional experience is important and should be reviewed. Superb traditional Italian restaurant. The baked clams were an outstanding appetizer and the homemade papperdelle with the porcini sauce was out of this world. My friend had the pollo mt etna and i couldn’t resist without trying. Compliments to the chef. Service was good. Our table had two servers who were attentive. Very precise with the menu suggesting those delicious entrees. Im looking forward to try some other interesting choices listed on the menu."

Absolutely great meal and service at Avere. Incredible dishes and homemade sauces that can go toe to toe with the best Italian joints in the city! Everything they serve here is not only exquisite, but it is exquisitely served. A 5-Stars Loved it, will be back.

Sub par Hotel Chain kitchen posing as an Italian restaurant. Service was average. Went there because it was close to the Alamo Draft House on a cold rainy evening. I would walk much further in a blizzard or hurricane before returning. The food was horribly over priced Sysco fare. Don’t go.
