"We came to this restaurant for our Uzbek cuisine fix after finding out that Nargis is undergoing renovations. It appears to be a family-owned business, a cozy little spot hidden away from the main restaurants. The food was good, although not exceptional. My favorites were the tongue salad and harsho soup. The Lulya kebab was flavorful and juicy, but the liver kebab was overcooked, unlike the usual medium/medium rare preparation. I wasn't a big fan of the samosa as it was too soggy and needed a crisper dough. Prices were very reasonable. I wish they served alcohol, but I believe BYOB is allowed."
