"This place is clean, so I mean that the tables, bottles of spices are clean, not sticky, floor tiles are clean, Health Department rated A. Been come here often in the last two weeks, I can Pho every day. The rice noodles have the right consistency, the broth is excellent. The meat choice is Filet Mignon, not the rare steak that is too chewing for me. The beef balls are also a good choice. I highly recommend this place. 3-01-21: Return Update: I ordered the Stir Fried Filet Mignon with spaghetti, it is OMG good, the Filet Mignon is very delicate, the taste is superb, a must-have. 3-02-21: Return Update: Yes, I am back for more, Stir Fried Filet Mignonette mit Spaghetti, Double Meat. One of the best dishes I've ever had. 5-10-21: Return Update: Stir Fried Filet Mignon with onions and Thai basil on a sizzling, served with white rice. I ordered the double Filet Mignon, $9 extra, not a basil. My-oh-my, one of the best dishes I've ever had."

"We love Black Horse. The food is always delicious and the service is very friendly. Today was extra busy, like Thursdays at 3 times. We recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a wonderful meal at a reasonable price. Hangar Steaks are incredible. And her chili is great. Add a piece of warm corn bread and it is a meal on and off itself. We always take leftovers home for another meal."

"Pretty cool to have an islander style breakfast and only 15mins from the 60fwy. The food was ok a bit lacking in the flavor department. The chilliquillies were ok but the pork was imo definitely lacking flavor, the plate was too dependent on the spice from the chips and yolk from the eggs. The beans were good. The spic was a medium heat. All our eggs were perfectly cooked. The loco moco was a bit salty but thats expected since we ordered the spam version so it gets a pass. The Belgium waffle was a decent size and filling. I would like to recommend this place to anyone that is interested in trying islander style breakfast. The atmosphere was cool and the music was pleasant. Make sure you pick up a pog juice at the counter. Food was made quickly and served with a smile. Cant say anything bad but nothing too great honestly since I have had better but no where near home. I will be returning next time to try their lunch and probably a few other breakfast items. Food wasnt bland its just missing a little something not sure what. But I dont want to knock it because it really wasnt bad just a little lacking. But still definitely worth a try."

"I recently ordered a bento box from this restaurant and paid $40. It was the worst bento box I have ever had. The portion size was small, with only a few thin slices of cold beef. They even forgot to include the rice. The tempura was old and served ice cold. I have had better sushi from a grocery store. Overall, I was very disappointed with my meal."

"Super good food everything was fresh. I just have one suggestion though I kind a wish the yellow curry was just a hair thicker I kind of dont like the watery kind, and I really like a thickener would be great idea in the recipe:  will order out again"
