"My husband and I had a wonderful time here last weekend. Charming restaurant, hometown country feel with a large dining room, a full bar, a huge lighted outdoor patio on the river, and even a little bakery. Prices were reasonable and the homemade dishes were great. Interesting variety of dishes from American to Italian and more. Smaller towns don't always cater to vegetarian diets but Gigi's had a lot of options. I went with vegetarian lasagna which to my (pleasant) surprise was a vegetable lasagna baked in some kind of bechamel cream sauce. It was served in a warm dish, very flavorful, hearty, and filling. My husband got French onion soup (in a beef broth) and chicken cordon bleu, both of which he said were so satisfying, and I stole most of his fries, which were thick cut and just right amount of crispy. Topped off with fresh baked apple pie a la mode, we nearly rolled ourselves out the door in a delicious food coma. Also our server was attentive, fast, and very sweet. Highly recommend this restaurant if you live nearby or are traveling in area as we were. Very close to Ausable Chasm and a nice place to stop for lunch, dinner, or baked goods on the way to Canada too."
