"We frequent a number of Indian restaurants, but this one in the Castro stands out as the best in the area and one of the top choices in San Francisco in my opinion. Despite being slightly higher in price, it remains reasonably priced by SF standards. The fact that it's not as popular as some other spots in the Castro may be due to its nicer ambiance and elevated price point, but it's worth it. One of the reasons I enjoy this restaurant is that you can always find a table without much hassle. We came here for a bday dinner and the food was tasty. Friendly service and drinks were good. They gave us a free mango cheesecake as a birthday dessert. Will come back again! The restaurant was clean and pretty chill for a friday night.
