What an awesome Maryland find. I felt like I was in the Islands. I came here with a group I had never heard of this place. Absolutely beautiful restaurant beach vibe. Outside seating to die for!!!! The mussels were huge and the sauce was thick creamy and flavorful. Spicy Chicken sandwich was so crispy and perfectly cooked with a sauce that added a kick. I absolutely love this place.

I am saddened to say this, but would advise families with children to steer clear. The actions of the GM, Wayne, ruined our experience this evening. We have thoroughly enjoyed all of our previous experiences at Bowleys on the Bay. Staff, food, and atmosphere are all great. Our kids really like going there to be able to play in the water, and we come because it’s historically been kid-friendly and all other aspects meet or exceed expectations. During our most recent trip, however, Wayne stopped every parent to scold their children for playing.
