"Passing through town for the night my husband and I were excited to try it. We ordered 2 meals to go. We wanted to sit in the park and eat. I would have really enjoyed my meal so much better IF YOU WOULD HAVE PROVIDED PLASTIC WARE AND SOME NAPKINS!!!!!! Really a huge disappointment. I used the bread to try to eat my mashed potatoes.

Our server was nice, cudos to her. Atmosphere was ok, nothing fun or special about this place except flies everywhere. Food was below average to my taste, but to be fair I'm slightly spoiled after living in Kansas City for over a year. Food was barely warm, briskets were tough with no smoke flavor or any sauce at all, burnt ends were slightly better but not much. Mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese were straight out of Walmart( worked there so I know the taste Positive thing it was fairly cheap

I stopped in this place on the 17hr drive from Wichita back to Phoenix at the suggestion of a young man at Loves Travel Center.I found the burnt ends, brisket and hot links were quite good, moist and a decent amount of flavor (my liking of BBQ sauce is Famous Dave's Devils Spit' the coleslaw was nice creamy and had a very nice compliment of sweet and sour from the cabbage. The potato salad was equally as enjoyable, reminding me a bit of how my Mom, used to make it.All in all a very nice suggestion/visit and will definitely try to stop here on my next drive home!
