"Great breakfast in Steinhatchee This is probably the only breakfast option in Steinhatchee and luckily it's really good. My husband and I had French toast with blueberries, and pancakes with blueberries and bacon. They were both delicious and very reasonably priced."

Quaint restaurant situated in a refurbished house. Service is friendly, food is a throwback to the 60's with greasy cheeseburgers and fries. They are known for breakfast served up with biscuits and gravy or grits.

By far the best breakfast in the Hatch!! Always our go to for a great start to a great day of fishing.. good old Florida feel and the meal always comes out hot and fresh. The staff is friendly and engaging . Someday will try the lunch if the fish aren't biting

"I wanted to love this place. We were told by a few different people that the owners were liberal. What others meant as an insult was appealing to us. Anyhow that?s beside the point. We knew about the surcharge going in because it was a big topic in some of the local Facebook groups. We decided to dine regardless. My partner ordered the 7 spice chicken, we didn?t realize that the $16 plate only included a piece of chicken. That?s it, no sides. Just one thin singular piece of chicken. Had it been a hardy piece for the price maybe that would not have been such a turn off. The pasta I ordered was supposed to be Cajun but didn?t have much flavor. Although it was not terrible and the shrimp and scallops tasted fresh, it just was not Cajun. Now to the service fee, I think I get what you are trying to do there. But for two people eating we spent $70 including the nearly $9 service charge. Had the food been stellar I would not have cared much, I left a tip but not as much as I normally would have due to the charge. Our waitress was very quiet, not friendly, and you could tell she was not enjoying her job. I also noticed that your facility was pretty empty. I would think that you could pay your staff better with a Full restaurant rather than imposing a fee that keeps people from coming in the first place or not returning at all. All this aside, your sad little piece of chewy chicken is the main reason for this review. I cannot justify paying $16 for just one little piece."
