"I'm glad I gave this restaurant a second chance after a not so great experience in November. This time around, it was much better. Including the service. Pretty much everything was done correctly with no rush to turnover the table. Staff were young with some older staff around, training them. Food was good, however, the salmon was small (maybe 5 oz. and tasted a little soggy like it had been frozen. The wine list was extensive and a little confusing because some good wines were listed as by the glass even though they were better than some of the wines listed as by the bottle. WOW ! I can't imagine a better restaurant in Midland than Zinc. The salads were excellent and a bit unique. The crab cakes are divine. My companion had cioppino and loved it and another companion had the Statler chicken. We all loved our meals. The pomme frites are some of the best I've ever had. They have a nice wine list as well as a good beer list. The service was excellent. Alyison did a stellar job.

You will not be disappointed dining here, everything is top notch. I highly recommend reservations, this place is busy, and for good reason! The breakfast was delicious, everyone enjoyed their meals. Servers and hosts well trained, friendly, and actually seem HAPPY to be there! -far superior service than most restaurants you’ll visit. We also loved that the fire place was on, such a cozy and inviting space!

Used to be my favorite restaurant in Midland, this visit was my worst experience. Had a reservation, asked to be moved, told the other locations were reserved, but they were not used. Took my asking for a server to come take our drink orders after we were seated. Drinks order was incorrect; the food was just blah... a terrible experience overall. This was a college graduation lunch, so disappointed in the service for this visit.
