"Vegetarian Friendly Sushi. As a vegetarian who enjoys sushi, it is very exciting to find a place that offers more than cucumber and asparagus rolls. What a bore. Here, they have one of my favorite rolls of all time: Sweet potato tempura and cream cheese. Sounds weird, but is AMAZING. Prices aren't out of control, but aren't cheap either. No fountain drinks. It's a very small space, but we've always gotten a table."

Creative Fusion Sushi. Came here on a friend's recommendation and have to say it's the best sushi for the price in LA. Rolls are super-creative and the fish is fresh. A definite must-try if you're stuck in West LA and looking for a quick bite. The spot is super low-brow, almost feels like a food court order-at-the-counter spot, so don't go to impress a date, but the excellent sushi is a pleasant surprise.
