Moist, flavorful masa and yummy fillings. The very best tamales I remember having. The sauce for the wet burrito is also amazing! Charles is a very dear man and the treasures throughout next door are fascinating.

We loved the owner's service. The presentation of the food was not great, but I know he had a new cook. The steak burrito I had was big and very tasteful. The Tortilla soup was a bit on the spicy side for my granddaughter. The grilled asparagus and shrimp shell was really good, but a little heavy on the chipotle for my wife. If we are back in this way, I will stop for another meal.

I can only say that the service is terrible and the Nacatamal it does not taste like a Nicaraguan Nacatamal, the price is ridiculous 23.00 for a Nacatamal that does not taste good it all. The chicken tamale was terrible. It is better to go to a real Mexican restaurant to get real tasty fools that are much cheaper than this fake place. Do not waste your money in a place that sells frozen tasty fools. You'll get the money in the right direction.

"I'm a little glut. I like to feel full and so when I wanted to get a Mexican dinner, I decided to stop here for the first time for lunch. a little hard to find tucktaway behind a cascade zigarre and tabak company, the festive trailer has some nice employees working there. I just finished my burrito and I am satisfied. I really like cheese and they didn't jump on my burrito on the cheese. it was meaty it was delicious it was fresh and I will certainly come back there."

"My husband and I really liked this store. Bright, pleasant atmosphere, large selection of products, normal prices. We couldn’t resist and ordered ourselves a Reuben sandwich and Salmon baget, coffee and sat down in the cozy cafeteria at the store. It was very tasty for us. The staff is polite. "We are visiting Portland from Northern California for a few days and in our foodie driven research, had heard that A Cena Ristorante was worth checking out. October 31st happens to be my husband and I’s “dateaversary”—the date of our very first official date, now 7 years ago. We always try and do something special on this day, and A Cena felt like a good spot to celebrate one of our personal milestones. We started with an Antipasto appetizer, a tray of yummy pickled veggies and accoutrement, and probably hands down the best burrata we have ever had. Firm, rich and not mucous-textured or watery. My husband got the hangar steak, and I got half portions of two different pasta dishes since I couldn’t quite decide. Our waitress was very nice and cordial at the beginning of our visit, but both my husband and I sensed that by the end of our dining, she was a bit cold and what we described as “bored” of us. Our interactions with her had been nice, enthusiastic, thankful, appreciative—and we did not linger at the table longer than it took to eat…so I’m not quite sure why she seemed to be disinterested with us by the time we finished up desert, paid the check, and left. Other than that, I’m glad we now can say we’ve tried A Cena Ristorante, and can cross it off our culinary bucket list."

"takeout was sub par, but that was amazing. I wish we had a quick pass, as they told us 25 minutes and there were exactly 58 minutes. they have forgotten the sosse also on my meal! literal only reisnudel and huh. not sure what took so long. I think they had to catch and cook the chicken in my meal. the atmosphere in the inner seemed to be ok as we need to see that 4 tables eat, eat and then go. do not go back because it is overpriced. I spend $80 for 4 people."
