"Our initial experience at the restaurant was excellent and I gave it a positive review. However, on our next visit in February, the food was good but the service was extremely slow, resulting in a two-hour wait. This past Saturday, May 7th, the service was even slower than before and my 12 oz Filet Mignon, ordered medium rare, was cooked medium at best. If it had been any other steak, it would have been inedible. We had to wait a long time for our drinks and salad, while other tables who arrived after us were served promptly. When we inquired about our food after waiting for two hours, we were informed that because we ordered a salad, our order was placed at the bottom of the list behind th...

The restaurant was very pleasant, the food was delicious, but there was a problem with the air conditioning. The steak was excellent, cooked just right, and the server was fantastic.

For many years, this was our favorite restaurant to go to! We used to visit often as loyal customers. However, after two recent meals with very poor service and terrible food, we have decided to remove it from our list. It's really disappointing! We hope that they can make some improvements so that we can possibly return in the future.

Katerina, our waitress was very attentive, eager to please and just an outstanding and outgoing individual. The mealo was terrific! My wife had the stuffed flounder and I had the bone in ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection and was very plentiful--had to carry a third of our meal home! We had a couple of drinks at the bar and the outstanding service was prevalent there too! A great place to enjoy good food and great service!

"This place is open all-night, unlike most all of the other breakfast joints that open at 6am and close at 2pm. When we arrived at 4am, Sat night/Sun morning, the entire restaurant was empty, except for a table of police officers taking a coffee break. Normally, an empty restaurant is taken by me as a sign to avoid the place, but at 4am, the choices were few. The décor is very nice, clean, typical of other such venues in the area. We both ordered steak & eggs. I also had biscuits and gravy on the side. The food was decent/average … except for the steak which we both thought was a tasteless sub-par cut of meat. Prices were fair, in line with other such venues are asking. Service was attentive, but being the only diners in the whole restaurant, it's not really a good measure of what to expect during normal hours. In the middle of the night, yes I would return, but I wouldn't order the steak again. During the morning hours, I would choose Southern Sunrise Pancake House instead. NOTE: Apparently the original Plantation Pancake House moved to 1003 Highway 17 North, Surfside Beach. This location, at 2001 Highway 17 North, North Myrtle Beach, is just across the street from Dino's House of Pancakes. My credit card receipt actually READS Dino's House of Pancakes, so I am guessing that Dino's bought this location when Plantation moved up the road."
